Almost every member of the 4Seasons Transportation leadership team has work experience driving students who live with disabilities. In fact, almost all began as drivers before becoming part of the leadership team. This gives our company the ability to support drivers and a unique perspective of understanding how the company works from the front lines.

Brooke Garcia

CEO

Brooke is the CEO of 4Seasons Transportation. She oversees all operations of the company and communicates directly with schools, parents, guardians and communities to ensure the highest quality service. During her tenure as CEO, Brooke has spearheaded business development and built a reputation for forging strategic alliances within the student transportation industry.

Brooke is dedicated to implementing innovative technology and raising industry standards for the transportation of students living with disabilities. She regularly speaks at transportation forums and recently accepted the 2018 Accessibility Award from the City of Calgary, on behalf of 4Seasons.

Grace Millar

Operations Manager

Grace Millar

Operations Manager

Grace is responsible for overseeing 4Seasons’ Operations Department. Specifically, she leads 4Seasons’ Safety, Training and Student Care Teams in providing safe, calm and compassionate school bus rides for students living with disabilities.

Grace possesses a Bachelor of Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies from the University of Calgary and a Diploma in Disability Studies from Mount Royal University. Prior to joining 4Seasons, Grace had the beneficial experience of supporting individuals with disabilities as a community support worker. Grace also has experience with supporting at-risk children and youth and has received training in trauma care and behavioural management.

Colleen Ledene

Human Resources Manager

As 4Seasons’ Human Resources Manager, Colleen directs the selection and retention of all 4Seasons’ personnel. Her focus is on finding individuals that are compassionate, adaptable and committed to the company’s vision to affect change in the lives of students with disabilities by being the leading accessible school bus company.

She has demonstrated her value by continually developing HR processes as 4Seasons grows exponentially. In addition to her many years of recruiting experience, Colleen holds a Diploma in Digital Graphics Communications from SAIT.

Carolyn Gillette

Training Manager

Carolyn Gillette

Training Manager

Carolyn is 4Seasons’ Training Manager. She began her career with 4Seasons as an Attendant, which gave her a solid foundation in understanding how to support School Bus Drivers and Attendants in working alongside students living with disabilities. In the role of Training Manager at 4Seasons, Carolyn plans and implements programs, courses and workshops so employees are empowered to transport students safely and with the utmost care.

Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Communications from Mount Royal University. Prior to joining 4Seasons, Carolyn had the beneficial experience of working at non-profits in support of health and wellbeing.

Health & Safety Manager

Christine Groulx

Health & Safety Manager

As 4Seasons’ Health & Safety Manager, Christine upholds company standards to ensure employee and student wellness and prevent injury. She is instrumental in maintaining 4Seasons’ COR Certification and National Safety Code status, which verifies 4Seasons’ meets national standards for commercial vehicle and workplace safety.

Christine leads the company’s Health and Safety Program, Health and Safety Committee and Occupational Health and safety courses. She’s a Certified Auditor with the Alberta Association for Safety Partnerships and holds a First Aid Certificate.

Kersti Rasmussen

Marketing & Communications Manager

As the Marketing & Communications Manager, Kersti is responsible for 4Seasons’ internal and external communications. She leads the company’s communication strategy and manages all marketing platforms to help 4Seasons empower students living with disabilities by being the leading accessible school bus company.

Kersti has nearly a decade of experience in marketing and communications and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Aberdeen, a Graduate Degree in Public Relations from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Dalhousie University.

Brian Bell

Driver Education Lead

Brian Bell

Driver Education Lead

Brian Bell is 4Seasons’ Driver Education Lead. He brings over 35 years of experience in the transportation regulation sector, 20 years of which he spent as a Driver Examiner for all license classes.

In his role as Driver Education Lead, Brian oversees the training of all School Bus Drivers so they develop professional driving habits to transport students to and from school safely and with the utmost care. Brian holds First Aid and Mental Health certifications. He’s also certified in Investigations and Investigative Interviewing, as well as Joint Worksite Health and Safety Committee Functions and Wheelchair Securement.

Student Care Specialist

Brian Clark

Student Care Specialist

Brian is 4Seasons’ Student Care Specialist. He has 25 years of experience working directly with the vulnerable sector during which he has accumulated extensive experience and knowledge in behaviour management. As a Student Care Specialist, he assesses students to determine their potential triggers, preferences and stressors, and works with School Bus Drivers, Attendants, school staff and caregivers to develop a plan to meet student needs.

Brian has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Calgary, a Certificate in Disability Studies from the Alberta Council of Disability Services, and further certification in crisis prevention, wheelchair and occupant securement and medical administration.
