The 4Seasons Transportation team had the opportunity to volunteer with BB4CK, helping prepare and pack lunches for children in need.
Every day, thousands of children in Calgary go to school without a proper lunch. Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids (BB4CK) works to change that by providing healthy, nutritious meals to students who might otherwise go without.
Together, the 4Seasons team made over 3,600 lunches—each one ensuring a child in Calgary has access to the nourishment they need to learn and grow. BB4CK operates with the help of volunteers and community donations. The organization works closely with schools to identify children facing food insecurity and ensures they receive a fresh, balanced meal each day.

“We know that food insecurity effects nearly 1 in 3 children in Alberta and it is our mission to connect and inspire people to take meaningful action to feed and care for kids." - BB4CK
The Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids community includes dedicated parents, volunteers, school staff, donors, and the BB4CK's staff who take meaningful action to care for kids. With 21 percent of Calgarians reporting they struggle to buy groceries, and food prices continuing to rise, the BB4CK community is determined to provide food security to kids and their families.
If you're looking for a fun and meaningful way to bring your organization together while making a real impact on students in Calgary, join BB4CK and be part of the change. For more information and to volunteer with BB4CKs, visit https://bb4ck.org/.
