We’re Hosting A School Supply Drive July 1-August 15 For Students with Disabilities

Donations Needed to Help Students with Disabilities Thrive in School & Reach Their Full Potential

According to the Government of Alberta, more than 14% of students in Alberta live with a disability. Statistics Canada research shows that almost 20% of students diagnosed with a disability don't graduate high school.

As children prepare to head back to school in September, 4Seasons Transportation aims to help students with disabilities thrive in the classroom by hosting a city-wide school supply drive from July 1st to August 15th at 4Seasons’ headquarters (#102 85 Freeport Blvd NE).

Calgary residents can come drop off essential supplies to provide students with disabilities the essential resources they need participate in school to reach their full potential. These donations will directly support kids in need at Calgary schools and nonprofits focused on students with disabilities, including Cerebral Palsy Kids and Families, Ups and Downs Society, and New Heights School & Learning Services.

Calgarians are encouraged to donate the following new school supplies:

  • Backpacks, lunch kits, and pencil cases
  • Binders, coiled notebooks, report covers, lined paper, and graph paper
  • Pens, markers, highlighters, pencil crayons, crayons, pencils, and pencil sharpeners
  • Glue, whiteout, rulers, calculators, and sanitizing wipes
  • Waterbottles with straws and fidget toys

To donate, drop off school supplies between 8 am and 5 pm between July 1st and August 15th at #102 85 Freeport Blvd NE. For more information, call 587-777-0705 or send us an email.
